A Collier County jury awarded Kate Gammack-Clark $2 Million for the injuries she sustained in a boating accident. In 2003, Gammack-Clark was a passenger on a pontoon boat rented by Marco, Island, Florida resident, Richard Mohring. During the course of the outing, Mr. Mohring ran the boat aground into a mangrove island.
As a result of the crash, Kate Gammack-Clark was thrown to the front of the boat. Her injuries were so severe that she needed to be airlifted to a hospital. Gammack-Clark suffered a burst fracture in her spine and had to undergo numerous painful surgeries. She now has metal rods implanted in her spine and will need medical treatment for the remainder of her life. Mr. Mohring denied all responsibility for the crash.
Lake Lytal, Jr. and Lake Lytal, III handled the case on behalf of Gammack-Clark.
