Case Settles Against Exotic Dancer/Stripclub
Personal Injury attorney Lake Lytal, III has settled a case against an exotic dancer for $650,000 after his client was kicked in the face by the dancer at the Cheetah Club near West Palm Beach. The incident happened in September 2008. Lytal's client, Michael Ireland was seriously injured when Sakeena "Suki" Shageer struck him in the face while she was dancing. Shageer's high-heeled shoe punctured Ireland's eye socket.
Ireland suffered broken bones around his eye and nose and now has permanent double vision. Ireland underwent several surgeries to help repair the damage and incurred extensive medical bills.
"When this case was first filed, many people criticized it simply because it occurred at a stripclub. But we feel the $650,000 settlement goes to show that this was a serious case with serious injuries," Lytal said.
