Julie H. Littky-Rubin is in charge of the appellate practice at LRCFW. She handles appeals arising out of all areas of civil trial law and provides trial support for the firm. In addition to the appeals she handles in-house, Ms. Littky-Rubin also assists outside firms and attorneys with their appellate and trial support matters. She is admitted to practice in Florida State Courts; the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida; and, the U.S. Court of Appeals, 11th Circuit.

Ms. Littky-Rubin joined the firm in 1994. Prior to that, she served as Staff Attorney to the Honorable George W. Hersey, III, in the Fourth District Court of Appeal in West Palm Beach.

Ms. Littky-Rubin frequently speaks at legal seminars throughout Florida and has had several articles published in the Florida Bar Journal. In the fall of 2003, she was awarded the S. Victor Tipton Award for Superior Achievement in Legal Writing by the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers in recognition of her advocacy for injured victims’ rights through legal writing and oral arguments she has presented before Florida’s courts. In the spring of 2004, she received the Palm Beach County Legal Aid Society Pro Bono Award in Appellate Practice. She was appointed by the Florida Supreme Court to serve on the Standard Jury Instruction (Civil) Committee and was awarded the Florida Bar President’s Pro Bono Service Award for the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit in 2008.

She participates in numerous legal organizations including The Florida and Palm Beach County Bar Associations, the Women’s Caucus Board of Directors for the Florida Justice Association, the Florida Association of Women Lawyers, for which she has served as President and Treasurer of the Palm Beach County Chapter. She has also volunteered in Palm Beach County’s attorney ad litem program, assisting with expediting adoptions. Ms. Littky-Rubin also volunteers as a judge in the Palm Beach Post’s Pathfinder Scholarship program in the Forensic category. She also currently serves as President of the Timber Trace Elementary School PTA.

Ms. Littky-Rubin lives in Palm Beach Gardens with her husband, attorney Len Rubin and their two children, Hannah and Matthew.
