A 26-year-old Boca Raton man was pronounced dead at the scene of a motorcycle accident early April 2 on Interstate 95, according to Florida Highway Patrol. The man, who has not yet been identified, was riding a 2015 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R and collided with a 2022 Chrysler Pacifica van driven by a 39-year-old New York woman. The crash occurred in the southbound lanes near Yamato Road when the motorcycle changed lanes.
The woman driving the van was not injured. The crash led to the closure of many southbound lanes of I-95 for about six hours as authorities investigated. The identities of the individuals involved have not been released.
