Google MapsA tragic incident took place on the morning of November 14 that claimed the life of an elderly pedestrian in West Palm Beach.
The accident took place at 6:46 a.m. on Haverhill Road near the intersection of Eadie Place. 87-year-old Theresa Thirbenny was walking across Haverhill Road when she was hit by a man driving a 2017 Toyota Corolla. The impact sent Thirbenny over the hood of the car and onto the road. The driver remained at the scene to answer questions from authorities.
Thirbenny was taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
