The affected sandals were sold in children’s sizes 5T through 12T. The Cat & Jack brand name is printed on the shoe’s sole and bottom of the sandals.
The recalled sandals were sold at Target stores nationwide and online at Target.com from January 2026 through May 2026 for approximately $20. Target, based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, imported the sandals, which were manufactured in Cambodia.
Decorative Pearls Can Create Choking Risk
According to the recall notice, the decorative pearls on the sandals can fall off, creating a choking hazard for young children. Target has received 23 reports of the pearls detaching from the sandals, although no injuries have been reported.
