Details of the Flashgitz Lunch Box Cup Recall
The recalled product is the copper cup included in the Flashgitz-branded Space King No Girls Allowed Relic Lunch Boxes. The recall only applies to the cups, and other items included in the lunch box can continue to be used.
The Relic Box is a retro-style lunch box containing a limited-edition bundle of collectibles for fans of the web cartoon Space King. The box includes:
- A metal figurine
- A Zippo lighter case
- A drinking cup
- A pack of condoms
- A strip of paper warning that the “Chastity Seals” is a novelty item and not intended for use
The lunch box is red and features “Space King” written in red and orange lettering on the front, along with an image of Space King characters.
The recalled lunch boxes were sold through the Flashgitz shop from September 2025 through October 2025 for approximately $25. Warren James, Inc., of Santa Monica, California, distributed the products, which were manufactured in China.
Copper Cups Contain Unsafe Lead Levels
According to the recall notice, the copper cups contain high lead concentration levels for drinking vessels. Lead is toxic if ingested by adults or children and can cause adverse health effects.
Lead exposure can be particularly dangerous because it may occur without immediate symptoms. Repeated exposure can result in serious health concerns, especially for children who are more vulnerable to the effects of lead poisoning.
