one killed in miami gardens crash

There’s just something about seeing a vehicle not situated in a right-side up position. Images that show a car laying on its side, or completely upside down tend to evoke additional horror in people. In that scenario, people truly expect the worst, as the visual seems like it’s right out of a movie.

That was the scene at the intersection of Northwest 27th Avenue and 207th Street in Miami Gardens on the morning of December 5. A white transport van was found lying on its side that morning, and its occupants, which included a driver and passenger, needed to be physically removed from the car by Miami Dade Fire Rescue.

Both individuals were taken to a local hospital, but the passenger did not survive. As it currently stands, the driver is still be evaluated at the medical facility.

A blue Subaru was speeding down Northwest 27th Avenue headed north, when it smacked into the white van. Medical updates with regards to the condition of the driver of the Subaru and anyone else in the car have not been provided. It has been reported that the Subaru suffered notable damage to the front part of the vehicle.

The investigation remains ongoing, as we are not sure at this time whether the driver of the Subaru has been detained or if that person will be charged criminally for the events that took place.

While it can be tempting to step on the gas to move your trip along, doing so unlawfully puts yourself and others at grave risk. Please use sound judgment and review your surroundings when behind the wheel of your car.
