A rollover accident involving two minivans at the intersection of Edison Avenue and Veronica Shoemaker Boulevard sent a woman to the hospital on the morning of May 14 in Fort Myers.
Firefighters had to extract the woman through the windshield of one of the vans where she was trapped. She was immediately taken to a local medical facility. Her condition and identity have not been disclosed.
No injuries were reported from the occupants of the other minivan, which was transporting children at the time of the accident.
