Marc B. Hernandez brings years of appellate experience to Lytal, Reiter, Smith, Ivey & Fronrath. He previously worked as a judicial law clerk at two of Florida’s district courts of appeal, where he assisted judges by conducting legal research and drafting appellate opinions in a wide range of cases. Most recently, Marc was an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Florida handling criminal appeals in state and federal court, where he fought to ensure justice for the victims of serious crimes like homicide, sexual battery, and armed robbery.

Marc is a Palm Beach County native. He attended college at the University of Florida, where he graduated as a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Marc continued his studies at the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he served on the Florida Law Review, won multiple awards for his legal writing, and graduated in the top 10 percent of his class.

Throughout his career, Marc has served as lead counsel in over 100 appeals. This experience will aid Lytal, Reiter, Smith, Ivey & Fronrath’s clients in personal injury cases because Marc not only works to resolve issues before trial, but also he is prepared to argue them successfully on appeal, if necessary. Marc handles all stages of trial support and appellate litigation, including researching complex legal issues; drafting dispositive motions, responses, and briefs; and appearing at oral argument.
