William (Bill) Viergever

William (Bill) Viergever is in charge of Lytal, Reiter, Smith, Ivey & Fronrath’s appellate practice. Working closely with all the firm’s attorneys, William handles appeals arising out of all areas of civil trial law and provides support for all cases the firm takes to trial. He has appeared before the Florida Supreme Court, the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, four of the five Florida District Courts of Appeal, and trial courts in at least 14 Florida Counties. Bill’s work has resulted in nearly 100 reported appellate decisions.

Before joining the Lytal team representing injured victims, Bill spent over 20 years representing insurance companies and hospitals. Bill also handled appeals and complex litigation support for outside firms and attorneys. Having experience from both the defense and plaintiff side of the law has provided Lytal, Reiter, Smith, Ivey & Fronrath’s clients an advantage few firms can claim.
