Cynthia Mazzuto joined LRCF&W as a nursing consultant in 2001. She earned her Registered Nursing degree in 1977 from the Allentown Hospital School of Nursing in Pennsylvania. Cynthia spent eleven years as the Critical Care Coordinator at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital. In that role, she was responsible for staffing and patient care in the emergency room, operating rooms and other critical care areas. Cynthia then became the Nurse Manager of the Open Heart Surgical Unit at the Franklin Square Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Cynthia received her certification as a Legal Nurse Consultant in 1995 from the Medical Legal Consulting Institute. After moving to the Palm Beach County in 1996, she worked as a Registered Nurse for a regional medical center.
Armed with a wealth of medical knowledge and patient care experience, Cynthia decided to work as an independent consultant for plaintiff's law firms in the area of medical malpractice. Before joining our firm, she spent four years with a plaintiff's law firm as a Medical Paralegal in Stuart, Florida.
Cynthia now focuses on medical research and analysis and trial preparation for medical malpractice litigation as well as nursing home abuse, personal injury and products liability cases.
