The law firm of Lytal, Reiter, Smith, Ivey, and Fronrath is proud to have Jason McIntosh as a member of our firm. Everyone has a story and as Jason’s story continues to evolve we are pleased to share a little bit about this rising legal professional.
Jason is a first generation Jamaican-American, born in the Bronx, NY but raised in West Palm Beach. He is the eldest of six siblings and comes from a large Jamaican family that stretches all over the globe. From New York to the United Kingdom to Hong Kong, the McIntosh family has roots spread around the world. It would be of no surprise that Jason loves to travel and learn about new cultures. With family spread around the world, Jason has been able spend time with his many cousins in England and Jamaica. He has been known to catch a football match while visiting the UK and may be seen cheering on his favorite football (soccer) team Manchester United.
Jason attended middle school, high school and college all in Palm Beach County. Jason then attended Florida State University College of Law. Prior to joining Lytal, Reiter, Smith, Ivey & Fronrath, Jason was an Assistant State Attorney in Palm Beach County’s 15th Judicial Circuit. During his time as a prosecutor Jason tried over 50 jury trials and handled thousands of felony and misdemeanor criminal cases.
Jason is married to his lovely wife Ashley who is a rising star in her own right in the medical field. They both love to be around the water and enjoy all sports. As an FSU graduate Jason loves the Seminoles and the New York teams including the Giants, Knicks, and the Yankees.
As local Palm Beach resident, Jason attends many of the firm’s community involvements. Lytal, Reiter, Smith, Ivey, and Fronrath supports many organizations and groups especially in Palm Beach County where he and his wife are often seen. Jason has a passion for interacting and working with the youth.
Jason currently serves as a board member of the Young lawyers section of the Florida Justice Association. He will be serving as the co-chair of the Young Lawyer’s Seminar at the Florida Justice Association’s annual convention at the Breakers on Palm Beach on June 19-23.
On June 28th Mr. McIntosh will become the President of the F. Malcolm Cunningham Sr. Bar Association. Jason’s commitment and service will have meaningful impact for many years to come with this association. With his community involvement, his work with clients, and the upcoming commitments our firm is proud to have this rising star as a member of our firm.
