Authorities said a car crashed into the Wholesale Flooring Depot in Hollywood at about 3 a.m. on May 21. The incident occurred when a gray 2014 Audi speeding west on Sheridan Street struck a sign and the building at 2201 Sheridan Street. The collision caused significant damage to both the vehicle and the building’s structure. According to a spokesperson from the Broward Sheriff’s Office, the driver was hospitalized.
The owner reported that this marks the third instance a car has crashed into this business.
