lainet guarita rodriguez and liudila lara rodriguez identified in multi-vehicle crash

Miami-Dade police are investigating a three-vehicle crash that claimed the lives of four people in the early morning hours of Nov. 16.

The crash occurred around 1 a.m. at Northwest 72nd Avenue and 74th Street. A man and a woman were pronounced dead at the scene, while another woman died after being transported to HCA Florida Kendall Hospital. A teenage boy, airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center, also succumbed to his injuries.

Authorities identified two of the victims as 48-year-old Lainet Guarita Rodriguez and 29-year-old Liudila Lara Rodriguez. It is unclear whether the two women were related. Police confirmed all four victims were in the same black sedan involved in the crash. A GMC Sierra pickup truck and a third vehicle were also part of the collision.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
