A 68-year-old woman has died after being struck by a car while crossing Military Trail at the Belvedere Road intersection. The incident occurred around 8:15 p.m. nearly a week ago.
According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, the woman was crossing the eight-lane road outside of a crosswalk and was wearing non-reflective clothing when she was hit by a Nissan sedan. The driver remained at the scene and was not cited.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident. No further details have been released at this time.
