Florida Highway Patrol responded to a semitrailer accident on southbound Interstate 75 at mile marker 90 around 3:40 a.m. on July 16. The semitrailer, transporting rooftop shingles, spilled its cargo onto the highway following the crash, causing significant traffic delays. The cause of the crash and whether other vehicles were involved remains under investigation. Details about injuries have not been disclosed.
