An accident in the early morning hours of March 26 reinforces vehicular safety behind the wheel at night. Details with regard to the circumstances surrounding the incident are still being discovered, but we know that a man was rushed to the hospital by Palm Beach County Fire Rescue responders after his truck crashed into a tree on Palmetto Park Road in Boca Raton.

At this point and time, it’s not known whether the man lost control of the vehicle due to technical concerns or whether there were foreign substances present at the time of the accident. Due to the severity of the crash, emergency responders had to remove the man from the car in order to be put in an ambulance.

The accident took place near the entrance to Addison Place at Mizner Way and West Palmetto Road. According to reports, there were no other vehicles involved in the collision. Witnesses have not been mentioned in the initial reporting, so it is possible that law enforcement will need to access surveillance video to piece together what led to the accident.

The man’s identity or current physical condition at the trauma center has not been made available to the public yet.

Lytal, Reiter, Smith, Ivey & Fronrath is saddened to hear about this news and hopes that the man is able to make a full and speedy recovery. If you or someone you know is injured in a car accident, please call us at (561) 655-1990 to review your situation.
