lorida woman killed

Tragically, there was a curve that a driver could not complete on the evening of March 24 that ended up with a fatal result. A 49-year-old woman crashed her 2004 Red Ford Ranger on U.S. 98 North highway, as the car went careening off the roadway on the left-hand side. It eventually overturned and slammed into a fence on the shoulder.

The identity of the woman has not yet been released to the public, but it has been confirmed that she was pronounced dead at HCA Lawnwood Hospital later that evening. She was from Lorida in Highland County.

There were no other vehicles involved in the incident, and it’s not known at this point whether the accident was caused due to driver error or other factors.

Florida Highway Patrol was first on the scene after the accident took place.
